Professional Work
Through my work with many of Houston’s major corporations and the remarkable people behind them, I gained a deep appreciation for their brilliance, professionalism, and innovation, all of which contribute so greatly to our society. It was also a great honor to serve President George H. W. Bush in helping present Houston to the world press.

I fully embraced the works of the artistic masters, but the artists I gravitated toward most were Alphonse Mucha, Salvador Dalí, Gustav Klimt, and Picasso — all imaginative, highly productive, and creators of masterpieces filled with wonder and creativity.
It was upon this artistic foundation that I built both my fine art and professional careers. Beginning first as an illustrator, I received commissions from leading advertising agencies after presenting my fine art portfolio to McCann Erickson and Ogilvy & Mather.
One opportunity led to another, eventually evolving into a career in corporate communications design. This opened the door to designing and illustrating brochures, annual reports, websites, advertisements, and newsletters, while also giving me the honor of collaborating with masters of the marketing profession.
